The Japan Consortium for Juvenile Thyroid Cancer was founded in April 2020. Experts in thyroidology, radiology, epidemiology, etc. from Japan and abroad participate in this consortium. It is now making recommendations for the diagnosis and therapy of thyroid cancer in children and adolescents, and will specifically work to control overdiagnosis.
